    Default Winter Whitetail

Wintertime in Michigan can be tough on whitetail deer but they get a little easier to get close to when they are hungry and there is some food around. It took me about 45 minutes to sneak up on this little guy and I got this just before he crossed the fence. He simply looked back at me like he wasn't sure how I got there. As you can see he has already shed one antler.

Thanks for looking and cc welcomed.

I think taken this in a vertical format would have worked much better. As presented, it is too tight on top and bottom and too much negative space on the side. Interesting to know what happened to his other antler.

I agree with Fabs, it is too tight top and bottom.
I really like the way that the tones in the background complement the tones in the deer. That works well.
