here is a photo of the moon from just west of Boston during the height of the eclipse Nikon D3 effective focal length of 2000mm at f11 ISO 1100 and 0.7 shutter all manual exposure and focus

Nice color and sharpness, albeit, not a color indicative of the eclipse.
I guess the first is a little over the top for color so i reposted with no adjustments to the hues and sats other than to change the as shot wb to shade to replecate the sight my eyes saw
