    Default Common Buzzard in flight.

I took this shot close to a local forest in a open field. The shot was made handheld.

    Gabi:

Nice display of underwing/tail detail, well exposed.

The tail/feet seem sharper than the head.

The going away pose is generally not as successful. The head being turned back a bit helps somewhat.

A bit tightly cropped for my taste.

    Cheers

    Randy

Gabi, Randy has already commented on everything that I would have said. If the bird had looked directly down at you this might have been a totally different image despite the going away pose.

Although a nice image it really doesn't work for me as the bird is flying away even though it has a small amount of eye contact .
