Interesting. A similar problem, with lead shot gun pellets had surfaced a number of years ago in relation to duck hunting and lead shot being left in the environment. Steel shot is now used, and it is no longer that much of a problem. Obviously deer hunters in such situations need to change to copper coated ammo, I would guess, perhaps by law as was the case with duck hunting. In any case hunters, on the whole, are some of the most environmentally conscious people out there, and I can't see much resistance. Speaking about eagles, remember DDT? regards~Bill
