    Hi Paulo - I've never seen a red squirrel in real life but I find them to be one of the most photogenic animals in the world. This is another example of what a beautiful image these furry little guys can make if a good photographer is behind the lens. I'm glad to see you are making great images with the 300 f/4 as it has been a work horse of mine for a long time and I still use it often, especially on long hikes. Great comp, color and exposure all adding up to --- great shot. P.S. Love the moss on the perch.

    Agree with Danny here, the Red Squirrel has it all over the other species. Lovely detail, lighting, sharpness & comp Paulo.

    Hi Paulo, Danny has summed it up perfectly.

    In addition I would darken down the OOF branch ? in the background that leads in top right towards the Squirrel.

    I like this a lot, nice comp and pose. I agree with Austin about toning down that one oof branch. Nice one!:cool:
