I haven't posted in the forums in ahile. But I just purchased the Fractalius plug-in and wanted to share one of my first efforts. I used the Impressions 1 preset and then modified the settings. I am looking forward to seeing other people's efforts using it too. Looks like lots of possibilities.

James I like your comp and the white on white, just wouldn't mind seeing the bird a bit sharper. Even just the eye:).

I agree...the head is getting lost in the branch for me - I had to really look - but wow...love the overall flowing effect you achieved! I'm telling you, Fractalius needs to give BPN it's own gallery!

Agree with comments about a bit more definition in the eye and outline of the bird, but, overall, I love it! The motion, position of the bird in the image and pose are outstanding!

I like the look. The head is pretty clear of the branch; it is the fact that the bird is angling away from us that bugs me. When Fracting the basic principles of still apply... And I like that the bird is well back in the frame.

What I love most about this image is the colors, especially the cranberry-like tones of the bill and the legs.

James, I really like the Fractalius effect here. The white on white look with the splashes of color really appeals to me. Nicely done!

Thanks Denise. And thanks for your tutorials. I'll apply them as I get more into using the program.
