Too busy for my taste. I would try to get the bird out of the center and hope to get the head turned a little more this way.

It is a beautiful bird, and the berry perch offers lots of potential. I agree the image is very busy, and with both HA (head angle) and light angle off. Not sure of the aperture used here, but if it was not wide open then doing so may have reduced the BGs distracting impact. Also moving left, if possible, would have placed the sun directly behind you thus better directly illuminating your subject. You did expose the image adequately, and sharp where it needs to be.
