Not sure if this qualifies as a window or nature based... I thought i will still give it a try. This is from a historical monument in New Delhi - tomb of Emperor Humayun built in 1563 and has great architectural significance. Taj Mahal in Agra was built on the concept of this monument. Mughal architecture uses natural light filtered through perforated reliefs or window similar to this with view of the garden. I had taken this image in 2004. Just changed levels, adjusted for the perspective and applied Topaz Simplify. Hope you like it...

Beautiful! and yes it qualifies. Very nice looking effect w/ the Simplify. IMHO I would crop a little off the bottom. I like the color tones and the lighting.

Very nice image and application, Indranil.

I like the image but would suggestion you consider cropping it to put the windows in the center. I have attached an example of a possible crop option. But ...

    Your image ... your vision.

Isn't it fun that we can all have 'new' images with all the wonderful software available today? This is nice, and I like the simplify processing. Agree w/Denise on just a little crop at the bottom. Your eye goes to the bright areas so don't shut it down too much - as you have some lovely details going on inside the building which you have illuminated.

I love your image. Just beautiful. I've been trying to get the same effect with Topaz Adjust. It has been difficult. Can you tell me what you did or what preset your started with?

A very appropriate use of the Topaz Simplify filter resulting in quite a pleasing creation. I do agree with cropping a bit off the bottom but would leave the top alone - the ceiling detail in that portion of the image adds nicely to the scene, IMO.

I typically copy the image to a new layer and then apply the Topaz Simplify or adjust. This gives me an option of changing the opacity of the top layer overlayed on the original or add a mask to paint over the image with different brush opacity. I have found that adjusting the image on the copied layer with more contrast helps to get nice results. In this case I used multiple masks on the copied layer with different brush opacity to get the result on the trees and the field. Hope this helps..
