    Default Last of the Harriers

Last of my little series of the Harriers up on Whidbey Island, Wa.
BTW--I had observed this bird for quite sometime--and he had just come back to his perch with a very full crop.
He spent a lot of time trying to adjust it!

Looks good, especially hand held. What did you do for noise reduction?

Good job, Bonnie. I like the sharpness, pose and BG. A slight shift to the right would have eliminated the foreground twig touching the bird's right wing. I might desat the green a little and can imagine this at a slightly warmer colour temp.

Yet another cool image, Bonnie. As before - good pose, comp, sharpness, exposure, and background. I would be tempted to clone the stem touching the side of the bird. Well done.

    Bonnie,
This is another beautiful image of the male. Did you do any work on the eye or is that the normal color? Much finer details in this one as compared to even the other day. Congratulations!

Nice detail, pose and I like the inclusion of the habitat. Would clone out the band.

Beautiful work Bonnie and really love the composition, perch and low angle. Wonderful pose and killer BG.

I like the detail in this Bonnie, sharp, and the comp works well for me.

Another beauty. Nice pose and perch. Comp works well. I too would warm this up a bit and clone out the band.

Thanks, everyone for your comments on this one. :)
Jeff, I masked off the bg and used Topaz clean on it. The bird has one round of Topaz clean.

Yes, this is another beauty, lovely bird, and I find this composition very interesting with the bird looking at all that empty space. Again, I wish the ring was not there.:)

Beautiful detail and a great BG with habitat. Agree with Tony about a slight move to the right improving the image (no overlap with bushes, and perhaps better eye contact). Still, a great look at a beautiful bird!

I love your Harrier shots. Great background and wonderful soft light.
The composition with the bird looking into the frame is great!
