Wow, great sharpness with excellent feather details. I also like how you mange to get both feet. The feather does put this over the top.

    Stunning creature!

Color / exposure / pose are great and the feather really adds to the image.

I might tone down the yellow flowers in the background or perhaps remove them.

Wow!! This is really nice. Bird, feather in the beak and the small yellow OOF flowers in the background really make this one special.

Niranjan, that feather is something. Makes the shot unique. Loved the shallow depth of field and the composition.

    Hi Niranjan,
The reddish tip of the feather connects together all the elements so well in this wonderful image.

Lovely, he must be a bit smaller than finch size, a totally new bird for me, TFS.

This is a fine bird indeed, the feather is a very nice bonus. Nice BG too. The image has tons of potential - I say this because there are a few points that I feel need pointing out:

    - The belly is quite heavily shaded below. Some fill-flash would have helped very nicely here
    - The HA, although not really bad, is still a bit off. A few degrees more towards us would have been just the ticket.
    - IMO pointing your lens down a wee bit would have improved the comp (about 1 - 1.5 inches). I feel there is not enough perch showing.
    - I agree the flowers need at least some toning down.

I do love the photo, I just feel these small pointers would have made a good image great :)

What vibrant reds on this little guy, good pose, and of course the feather in the beak ends this off nicely. Im 50/50 on the yellow OOF flowers.

I would love to see this bird in person! love the colors of this one and the complementary BG. The feather on beak makes this one a winner. Congrats.
