    Double-crested cormorant, a thin layer of algae on water has created this effect.



    Canon 40D + 400 f/5.6L f/8 1/1000sec ISO 400. sw Canon DPP 3.7 Digital processing: crop

    Hi Arash Can't imagine better looking for water for that bird !! Just taste but would take a little from the top, very appealing image and like the shadow detail !! Excellent !!!

    Arash I agree with some off the top. Beautiful water, complementing the bird very well. Nice and sharp too.

    I shot these guys all the time, hard to get close ups. Strong image, f/8 over 1/1000 nice detail/exposure techs - perfect ISO speed IMO - thanks for sharing.
