Canon 1DMkIV custom settings
My new MkIV arrived yesterday. About all I got done was charge the battery and go through the Menu with a few changes. I've started going through the manual. I skipped the MkIII so I'm a little behind the times with this camera. Can any of you give me some input on what settings I might start with. I don't often do flight shots except when I go to Florida. Most of what I'll be doing will be perched birds. However, I might try some basketball later in the season. I know there was the Auto Lighting Optimization which I turned off but I'm pretty clueless about a lot of this. Any help would be appreciated. This is really a quantum leap for me as I've never even used "Live View" before and I'm a little nervous that I may have to do some calibration with the 500mm.
