    Stuart:

    I like the feel here, nice environmental aspect. I might consider a small crop to eliminate the black spot in the LUC. This would tend to move the bird up more into the corner, which works well with small in frame subjects.

    Pretty good exposure against a darker background. Did you do any esp compensation ( unless you were in manual)

    I love seeing the Great Egret in environmental shots, the white contrasts so well! I would crop a little tighter, specifically off the bottom and right. I think the foliage below the bird, the green plants look a little jumbled, where as the brown hanging foliage has a little more organization to it. Some of the environment looks a little blurry, ideally would love to see it all tack sharp.
