    Default Early Morning Portrait

Here's another from my holiday trip to Florida.

I managed to capture him one early morning after shooting the sunset again. I thought he was some sort of baby heron at first since we don't anything that looks like this here. Anyone know what he is?

Camera Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
    Flash Used: No
    Focal Length: 500.0mm
    Exposure Time: 0.013 s (1/80)
    Aperture: f/8.0
    ISO equiv: 400

Its a Yellow-crowned night heron. I liked the sharpness on the head and the composition. If it were mine, I'd play with the contrast a bit....try and get some more details out of the blacks.

Like the background. The head could be angled a little more this way, and I agree about the blacks.
