    You know what...I actually like this (didn't think I would from the thumb). I'd only crop a good amout at bottom, and add a tiny bit above. Otherwise I like the overall placement of your subject. Well seen...something I probably would not have thought of myself.

    I also like the photo. It has a very nice feel to it. Perch certainly looks well used. If i were to crop I may take off the left and crop to more a vertical. Bird is nice and sharp. Dave

    I think this is a great environment shot of the bird. The comp works for me, but trying the suggestions Daniel made couldn't hurt.
