Default Brown Thrasher with an extra long beak?

Since the ground is covered with snow, this Thrasher has been visiting my seed feeder. They are so wary that I rarely get a chance at shooting them so to document its visit, I shot this through a dirty window. The beak looks extra long IMO. Is this unusual?

Yes, the bill is deformed either due to damage or (more likely in this case) abnormal growth. It should close properly and be shorter than it is.
