    Default Ivory Gull

I processed some more Ivory Gull images from my trip to Cape Cod two weeks ago. I haven't heard about any recent sightings, the last one was in Rhode Island.

    Axel:

soft light with nicely exposed whites. Foot up,foam and breakers in BG, works well.

    Cheers

I'm drooling over this bird. There was one in GA but it was severely injured by an eagle attack and had to be euthanized. These birds are angelic in their appearance. It's a wonderful pose and head turn.

Axel - Another beauty. White on white, great low shooting angle and raised foot; just a hint of the red eye ring. Beautifully captured.

I like the HA and eye contact, and a super low angle of capture. Your usual high standard of exposure, and the raised foot shows movement. Well captured.

Echo the same comments of Stuart. This is such a cool bird (I love that red eye ring) and I would be curious as to how many photos you captured of this guy. Must be giving that new shutter a work out!

this is sure a tuffest subject for anyone in world and you manage to show every pixel very well here bhai. was amazed to see +0.33 compensation. usually when whites comes in people do reverse and by seeing here first i got my eyes popped out. then i looked at the aperture and ISO and saved image to see the time you shot.

my two thumbs up for your expertise over the gears.
hearty congrats.. 15.3m distance and such details to see seems i am becoming more fan of canon for wildlife shoot atlest :)
