    Hi Everyone,
    Here is one to make you smile. This guy downed three of these starfish in about 45 minutes while I was at Neck Point the other day.

    Stats: Canon 50D, 500 F/4 + 1.4X, 1/800 at F/8, EC at +1

    I'm always surprised how they can swallow starfish this size. I like the the angle, BG and the fact that we can see the feet well. I might just give it a bit more room.

    Hey Axel,
    Thanks for commenting. I was afraid that I wouldn't get any come backs on this one. Yes I really don't know how they can digest starfish so fast. It seems like every time I am there this guy is eating one. Here is another shot from a different angle and a bit closer.

    Nice photos. Can you imagine the stomach required to digest these? Of the two I prefer the second. Both are very sharp and well exposed. I wonder what is going on on the birds right side in first photo. Dave
