    Think I'll stay inside! :D

The window is from an old building (what other kind is there?) at Bodie Ghost Town. The outside image I created from a capture of the full moon over Cachuma Lake. I creeped myself out working on this last night! ;)

For the outside image, I had done a long exposure (eight seconds) and painted the tree with a flashlight. I then took that base image and spent some time in Topaz Simplify getting the colors and effects I wanted. I will post that image tomorrow so you can see what the whole thing looks like.

Then I took the old room picture and selected the glass panes of the window. I knocked out the spaces where the panes were by using "cut", which left holes in the image. I then copied the outside image and pasted it on a layer below the previously made one. A little scaling and moving around to get the moon where I wanted it and finally I had the image I wanted. This one was really fun to work through from concept to completion. :)

    Comments welcome and appreciated!

Eerie Kerry. I like the feeling you have created with the PP. VWD.

Great concept and execution! I love the colors you selected and the darkness inside. I can't wait to see the rest of the outside image. What I am seeing is wonderful.

Kerry, You really worked your magic on this one. I love the dramatic effect you achieved w/ the long exposure and the PP work. The simplify adds a nice touch. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the image. Nicely done.:)

Definitely has a ethereal quality. The torn curtain, old chairs and dim lighting of the interior really set the mood. Good work Kerry. The only thing is that limb outside should be in shadow, since it is not lit by moonlight IMO. regards~Bill

Nice work, Kerry. The image has a very eerie feel to it. Excellent lighting. I might just rotate it a tiny bit to straighten the window. Well done.
