    Hi Jim, I also really like the habitat/environment aspect of the image. Of course the bird is also very nice. The position of the wings are terrific. I find the feet especially pleasing. The out stretched right foot combined with the snail in the left foot is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice exposure, soft light, and habitat. The bird could use some sharpening.

    This is an excellent landing shot, showing the nest, environment and the snail! wing position is very good. Bird looks a bit soft for my taste (softer than the branches in the nest).

    A great capture of the bird in action, with a wonderful low viewpoint. Agree about sharpening the bird more. You might try some ways to blur/darken the very busy BG and desat the grasses, as they are distracting.
