I was very busy and had no time to post in the forum for a while. But I love to see all those phantastic images shown here! Now I'll try to start beeing more active here again....
I took that image during my staying at England in January.
It was a great experience to photograph an Owl by night...

Would love to get C&C, because this was my first attempt in taking images like this.

    Mark III Canon 70 - 200
    F 11 / 1/250 sec / ISO 200
    Flash light

Thank you for looking at the image!
    Lots of love,
    Rose

The lighting looks very good, so are the colors and Comp.
I would remove one of the two catchlight in both eyes.

I like this a lot, Rose! Great colors and composition. I am jealous that you were able to find and shoot at night.
Catchlights have been mentioned--and I would nip just a hair from the top of the frame.

    Rose:
A beautiful bird, with lovely display of colors and detail in near wing.

Since it is a barn owl, the inclusion of a barn door (dutch door?) seems appropriate.

I agree with Bonnie"s thought on the crop. I can also see a much tighter version, with the bottom cropped off, as well as the top. Simplifying the image as much as possible. Just a thought.

Nice exposure and detail. How was the photo made? Recorded audio?
