    Hi Jim, might have gone vertical on this. I would add more shapening and some contast to the bird. It does show off his wattles though. Good job with the manual focus.

    Hi Jim Agree with Jackie, going vertical and the PS enhancements. With these I don't mind leaving a little under contrast to go with the mood !!

    Glad you raised the ISO !! ... hope the lens was on a tripod !!!

    Agree about vertical too. I really like the idea of showing rain falling down around the bird, just wish that the tail was not clipped.

    Like the rain and the overall feel - looks a tad soft on my screen.
    The clipped tail is unfortunate - best to include it all unless you are making a compositional cut on purpose.

    I like the rain effect on your subject. Do agree that the image is a little soft, and wish the tail wouldn't have been left out.
