    Taken in the Kalahari last october....this lappett-face was flying away from carcass....decided to zoom in to get this crop. so basically FF ...just cropped slightly to get pano effect. d2xs 200-400vr ....bean bag and panning plate.

    I like it Peter In this case the looking out of the frame makes me think what's out there I'm fine with it Would crop a bit from the bottom I like the intense look and the fact that you cut (not clipped) the bird !!! Handsome species !!!!

    I agree about cropping a little off from the bottom to even out the composition. It looks slightly soft round the eye, but you can fix that. Very nice photo!

    Great pose and colors. Too bad you don't have more room at the right side.

    Sharp, good EXP, and well done. Try getting rid of 2/3 of the open space below the bird with a crop...

    thank you all for your constructive critique....will definitely get rid of 2/3 space at bottom.
