National Archives Has Ansel Adams National Park Pics on Flickr

The National Archives has put up over 200 public domain images that Ansel Adams took for the Park Service in the 1930's and 1940's from areas of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, etc.

It's amazing to view them and compare his images to current imagery of the area. Check out the set here.

Additionally, they have photos taken in the early 1970's of the American Southwest taken for the EPA for the Docuamerica project. Check these out too.
