I tend to love images with rhythm or patterns, this is no exception. There are leading lines everywhere, like it neat image and kind of optical gaming of sorts - circles over 45 degree angles - cool.

    Hey Mr. Peters,
I like the repeated patterns of the concentric rings and the texture. The color rendition is good...love it...:D:cool:

Textures and patterns look great Lance. I like the diagonal lines going through the frame too Lance.

Hi Lance, nice textures and patterns. Out of curiosity: what are we looking at?

Hi Jerry - this is a small branch of a tree that had been pruned.

Hi Lance, I like how you filled the frame with the patterns and textures here. It also looks sharp corner to corner. Does the 150mm macro give you better results for this type of shot, as opposed to a 60mm or 100mm macro?

Hi Julie - IMHO - the 60mm is too short - you have to get too close to the subject and possibly cast shadows on the subject - the 100 is better - the 150 better again - 200 would be awesome, the sigma is a excellent VALUE for money lens, considerably less expensive than a nikon, If i used it all the time Id go with a Nikon but as I onlyuse it occasionally decided to go with the more affordable option.
    :)
