Welcome to BPN, Ivan! Very nice first post, I like the setting, look-back pose, soft light and the food item adds to it. I might put the bird a tad further to the right in the frame. and wouldn't sharpen the 'perch' as it introduced some noise. Keep them coming!

Agree with Axel. Try cropping some off the right and bottom. The part of the perch in foreground is noisy but could be fixed easily.

    Hi Ivan

A great first post and I really like the dynamic setting showing the bird in it environment. Dippers are good fun to photograph but not always very easy to approach. The exposure looks good and you have held the whites while getting good detail in the black back feathers. There seems to be a bit of a sharpening halo along the top of the bird. Looking foward to seeing many more.

    Cheers

I followed Alex, Joel and Rich advices and crooped it some on the right and bottom parts and took some less sharpening. Thanks for all the comments and help!
