Main square in Jackson, has several of these antler arches decorated for Xmas !! Antlers come from the Elk refuge, when the animals shed them, boy scouts come out to pick them up and they are put up for sale.
Comments welcome and much appreciated

Wow...I like the festive arch...How many antlers would you say are in this arch??? 150 - 200 perhaps...:)
... I think a lot more than that !!! Some homes have giant piles of antlers up front, you buy them by the pound !!
Loved that arch Alfred , must be very costly

I wonder how/where they store it when not in use? Great picture.
Hi Kathie They stay there all year around !! I think the park has four arches and there are others in town !!
Very cool Al!! Antlers meet LEDs! These arches are iconic at Jackson, and you drive through several of them getting through town. Good to know that they are shed naturally...

Alfred,
Really like your image. Somehow I missed it on my only trip to Yellowstone NP.
Thanks for sharing....

I had no idea they light this up in winter. Cool. Jackson is one of best mountain towns I have ever visited. Thx for sharing.
