Beautiful details and wing position. Your exposure looks great. I also like the water BG.

    Michael:

Nicely exposed with good details in the blacks, sharp, the beak and foot provides a spark of color.
Pleasing composition. The background has just enough detail for my taste.

    Very nice.

Denise and I were typing at the same time. Sorry for the duplication.

Very nicely done, enough detail in the black and killer pose. I hate to triplicate the comments, but at least we are all in agreement :)

Super job with a very difficult exposure; you struck the perfect balance here Michael! Perfect head turn and nice near wing position. Far wing could be better but it doesn't detract in the least.

Michael, I like the flight angle, and you have nailed the exposure on this guy very well. Lot of detail there, and pops nicely from the sea BG.

It's a small detail, but I like how you can see through the nostril hole. It's not something you get often, but it adds to the photo for me.

Ditto to all of the above too. Very nice capture, and well done.
