    Default Brotherly love.

Brotherly love is sharing a meal without fighting!
These are the two young bros that took down a Sitatunga and dragged it under some cover in 100deg midday heat. Here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ight=sitatunga
That's the horn of the Sitatunga the Lion on right is licking.

My own obvious nits are the clipped ears and difficult lighting, where flash should have been implemented.
The clipped ears are the result of a prime lens and being as far back in the vehicle as possible, I guess when action happens fast you often just grab your lens and fire!:o
I managed to bring out enough shadow detail as I thought possible.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers

This is one of those images that makes you wonder what the animals are thinking at that moment. Nice interaction.

Great moment recorded. since the ears are already clipped I wonder if cropping a bit more from top and bottom would add more impact?

Marc, the blood on their faces tells the story. Well timed to capture the protruding tongue, and the tender moment together. I would have got rid of the flies in both corners.

Excellent shot and story in the image Marc. Did well as you could and don't mind it being tight as concentrates the attention on the moment. WD!

Hi Marc, I think the expression says it all!

What is the 'metal' bit below the rh lion below the jaw, or have I missed something earlier?

    Steve;)

I guess it does look like a twisted blade.
