    could someone comment on the use of downloading images from
    smart media cards to a dvd.are there any good devices on the market to work with mac.?

    Do you mean an external battery-powered harddrive wiht card slots? I've seen people use it in the field but don't recall the brand.

    Why not download into a 500gb (or smaller) Sanho Colorspace?
