I like this pair of Mallards drinking together; I've never got that charming pose before. But the picture, as you see, leaves something (a lot) to be desired. I deliberately left the water as is -- filled with debris, etc. I only minimally cropped, then ran NR and Sharpening. I think the image would require a lot of PP to make it "right." Would it be worth it? Or should I wait for another opportunity?

Hi Wendell - IMHO - I would wait for another opportunity, for my tastes the ducks need some separation between them, when I first opened it it looked a little like a duck with two heads.
Exposure looks good, good sharp details etc but as you mentioned there is a lot you would like to change, once again IMHO rather than sitting behind a computer spending hours trying it change it - I would rather be out there taking more shots - the best shots are those that require little PP - IMHO!

Hi Wendell Good suggestion by Lance and agree It is a cute keeper and might only remove the prominent stick by her back and light ones by the water !!! .. did well with the exposure and like this full frame image !

Hi Wendell. I agree with the others. Nice concept but too much work to make a true keeper. Great exposure though.
