From a very slow morning at Estero. Just a few birds and overcast/flat light. Kind of cool as well. At least this subject did a little dance and allowed me to come away with something.
PP in CS3 on my laptop.

Love the wing position. Even though the light was flat, the contours of the subject are nicely brought out.

I'm not sure if the green cast was natural or intended. I adjusted it, but there's nothing wrong with leaving it as it is. Either way,
some selective enhancement of the subject (curves, S/H, sharpening) can pop out feather details a bit more. Very nice image.

    Joe:

I agree with David about the color cast, the green is quite pronounced.
I might try recomposing the image with the bird slightly higher in the frame, more room for the virtual feet.
I am rather partial to reds, and hope to see some soon. When was the image captured?

    Cheers

captured At Estero 1-31-10. Probably got the green cast due to being on my laptop.

I actually like the green cast whether intended or not. It sets a nice mood for the image and is unique as well.
