up and down camera movement. I was going for an impressionist look. Texture and color saturation. I added some noise which was inspired by Ramesh. I thought I would keep an open mind.:)

It works for me. I like the colors and I like the way the brighter details along the top 1/3 (I am assuming they are sky) kind of break through. The addition of noise seems to work fine.

I like this Denise. I like the slight movement in the lines too. I've seen them be really wavy which works too. Great technique and a nice impressionistic look!

Beautiful image, Denise. Abstract shapes of the trees and the depth adds a mysterious feel to it. Lovely colors too. It was a good idea to add grain (i think that is a better term than noise):) TFS.

    regards,

Very nice effect, Denise. I like the colors. Surely the grain adds to the image.

Curious about Manet vs. Monet I surfed around and wound up here:

Learned a lot by following a few links.

As for this image I like it a ton, especially them COMP; the framing and the placement of the closest trees on a thirds line. The only thing that bugs me are the yellow squiggles on the lower right frame edge. Best not to have something finite cut by a frame edge.... I'd say dreamy and Brandenburg-like.

Lovely image, Denise! I like that there are bright tones in with all the midtones but nothing stands out as distracting...very impressive!
