Hello, shot yesterday morning when Michigan finally experienced a little brighter day.

50D, 350mm on a 100-400, iso 400, 1/2000, f/8. I did clone out another trumpeter in the background that was not part of the act.

C and C welcome and have a great Sunday!

oops forgot to upload...another cup of coffee please

Great behavior shot! Love the walking poses and open beaks. I often find it hard to be sure on my screen, but whites may be just a bit cooked in a few places. I might take a bit off the bottom, maybe to just above the white dot below the LH bird; and it feels like it wants just a bit of CCW rotation although I have no rational measure to justify this feeling.

Thanks Bill! You are correct they are cooked in a couple of places. As far as the CCW, it feels like the shadows to me, thanks again.

Very nice behavior shot, love the expression on the face, the raise foot and trial of powder snow cause by it, shadow even add to the image. Sure look like these guys are performing on the icy stage. I might try to tone down the white on the wings and tail of the front bird if possible.

hi Gary - love those poses - whites covered above does feel like it could use some CCW rotation - but you may indeed be correct - think its just the shadows.
Looking forward to seeing more :)

Nice nature moment - love the open mouth - too funny. Not sure what mode you were in: M, AV maybe TV for that matter. Wish for some EC but maybe you can recover the warm spots - nice eye. I would take some from the bottom, love it.

Nice shot Gary with the similar poses. I wonder about more of a crop from the bottom, whites covered, brought a big smile to my face.

Hi Gary Just take a some from the bottom, don't need all that negative space.

Great feel and a big keeper in my book !! The whites could be slightly over but don't mind much since all fits so well together .. posting my crop idea below. Did not straighten since only you know what straight is !!!
