    A fine image. I like the framing with the grass at the bottom. Depth of filed is nice. Thanks for sharing.

    A handsome beast Sid and the Elk really stand out from the BG. Would like to see more on the lhs.

    excellent portrait....great use of DOF , love the muted colours , agree with steve about lhs , can not help thinking that landscape crop would hev worked better.

    Sid, I like this lots. Comp works for as is, and I like the sharp detail of the Elk. Great image sir.

    I like the light and angle here. Agree with some more space but if you don't have enough for a landscape comp I would add some to the RHS so the antlers balance nicely in the frame with even space to the edges.

    Like the frost on the surrounding vegetation. I like the vert. comp as well.

    Great presentation. I like the intense stare and the DOF. The peaking out of the grass pose is an unusual perspective that tells a good story.

    Sid, liked the comp a lot. Good job with exposure. I am guessing you must have needed to add a lot of exp. comp from evaluative for this with 40d.
