Hi Jim - Do include all of your tech details including shutter speed, exposure compensation and aperture will help everyone see whats going on
The HAP may want to talk to you about this one - the most pleasing images are usually with the bird angled towards the camera - I dont mind this - looks like he is contemplating something.

Do you think it looks just a tad dark???
Some of the blacks are blocked.
I would also run some noise reduction on the background - it will give it a much smoother feel.
Looking forward to seeing more :)

I like the tail up position, the fluffy look, and how you manage to get both feet visible. Agree with Lance about being a bit dark.

Love the pose. Techs mentioned. I have never seen this bird. TFS.

Thanks for the feedback. It's all very much appreciated.
In regards to enhancement of my digital photos, well it's still all very new to me and I am finding it an uphill and quite steep learning curve (though a very enjoyable one at that). So a lot of my pictures are virtuall straight out of the camera and just resized and saved as a .jpeg for publishing on the website.
