    Default Forster's Tern in Flight

First post here... I'm somewhat reach limited so for now, er, maximal crops.

    D3 200 f/2 + TC17EII (340 mm) 1/1250 @ f/5.6, HH
    RAW conversion adjustments +
some localized contrast adjustments w/ curves & hot spot work

    Comments/critique appreciated.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Hi Michael - yes fixed now - nice first post.
I like the image composition, the good HA and eye contact. The whites look good - do see you had to do some recovery as you mentioned.
The shadows on the wing/body are a little distracting - best to line the sun up at your back to get even illumintion on your subject.
    Still lots to like here!!

    Welcome to BPN,
Your image looks sharp with lots of detail, even for a crop. Seem like you nail the focus here, not easy getting these guys in flight. The tail span looks nice too. The shadow does distract, seem like the sun is high up, as Lance mentioned, usually it is best to have the sun directly behind you.
