Taken at Shark Valley in Everglades NP. This was the last heron for me to see and photograph on my Florida trip. What a beautiful bird!

Justin you found quite a clean perch. The exposure and details look good. If anything more room for the feet might be nice. The green water sets your subject off very nicely.

Very nice light and sharpness. I think is a bit tight in the frame and I miss a better eye contact. The green textures in the background are just beautiful

I like the pose, sharpness and mood and agree on more room. The bright parts of the bird could go a bit darker for my taste.

    Justin:

On my monitor, the exposure on the bird is excellent.
I might consider cleaning up the small sticks jutting up towards the breast, and also the fine one running parallel to the bottom of the frame. BG is nice as mentioned.

    Cheers

    Randy
