Nature's Best has a BIrds category, deadline April 30, 2008, winner gets to be in the Smithsonian Museum, Washington, in the magazine, plus cash prize:http://www.naturesbestphotography.com/pages/home.html

Shell WIldlife also has a Birds cat, you get to be in the British Museum too and a cash prize. Deadline is MArch 24th 2008:
