    This young cub turned around just for a second to get a picture, Its sister and mother just further down the road.

    You mean to say image was clicked at 200mm? I wish the one in the background were not in the frame. Like the expression. A narrow aperture would have been great. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Peter, I quite like the placement of the subject within the frame and the head looking back.

    Sadly for me the face isn't sharp and I do find the second leopard (in the BG) distracting, plus my eye keeps getting drawn to the tail of the first leopard. The flash has certainly helped, but I would be keen not to over use it, especially on young animals. Always nice to see cubs. ;)

    I like the comp, and eye contact, together with the low angle. Colours look natural too.

    It's a beautiful catch and, as mentioned, the expression is just great. I also find the cub in the background and the tail (although gorgeous) drag my attention away from the face and so, while I think it is a very nice composition with the road running through it, I wonder if it might not work better with a pretty significant crop from the right, almost to the paw, and maybe a bit off the top?
