I used Fractalius shaggy filter on this anhinga I shot a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been able to be out this
week so didn't have much to contribute to the theme.

    Comments and suggestions always appreciated:)

It looks like a forest fire in the distance, well done.

Cheryl, It does look like a fire in the BG. The colors are intense and wonderful. I like the way you framed it w/ the drop shadow. The effect looks cool. I might tone down the tiny bits of white just a bit.

Also, I think you should paste a copy of your Tribute to Dave in the Friends and Family thread for him as many more will get to enjoy it.:)

Cheryl, I love the colors and detail in this! It really pops right off the page. I especially love what the Frac did to his eye! Neat image.

Great BG, nice work with Frac. I was thinking differently than Julie and wondering about masking out the eye to show more realistic detail in it, just my opinion...nice job!

I like the composition, colors and the frame, Cheryl.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this process, when it changes the image as in this case. I think it has value, but just not sure if it applies to this type of image. Personal view only... But

    Your image ... your vision.
