Impressive bird, beautiful BG, nice gliding pose and good feather detail! Excellent shot!
Fantastic shot, lighting, detail etc spot on, and what an impressive looking bird. One small thing, I find the frame a liitle overpowering and feel it takes to much away from the image. I would reduce it by about 50%.

excellent image....i love vultures....yet to shoot these guys.....soon hopefully....the black frame is way overpowering....i went thru a black frame stage aswell now prefare ....white less intrusive on image... .stunning shot...

Dion, this is one of the most spectacular image I have seen of this species. Technically perfect. Love the depth of field and the details.

Thanks for the comments guys , nit noted on the frame , i don't normally do frames ,
so still need to learn what works and what does not .
Excellent flight capture with great background. The wing position I'm not a fan of, wish it were up or down.
Another vote for no frame :)
Great image Dion. As the bird is gliding the position of the wings do not worry me at all but I do agree about the frame.
Great details, light and BG. Another vote for a smaller or no frame. Do you have earlier images in this series with different wing positions?
Hi Axel , I have , but not with the same background unfortunately .
Great flight shot,i love the details, compo and BG!
I actually think the wing position is just about perfect for portraying these guys riding the updrafts and the background is just beautiful. The look on this guys face also adds to the impact. Very nice work.
Stunning image. I would selectively tone down the brightest part on his chest...
excellent image. lovely warm light, sharp bird.
liked everything about it.
TFS.
