This image was taken at Merritt Island NWR last year. I have been busy this week so have not been able to participate in the theme. But was working the computer tonight and came across this image wanting to be viewed! ;)

Modification included; Cropping from larger image, Dry Brush, Ink Outline, Hue/Saturation adjustment.

    Enjoy!

And I love viewing it! :) I like your processing here, Mark. The composition works for me - simple and elegant.

Mark, I like the color of the water and the effect on the bird. I'm undecided about the reflection since it isn't very clear.

I really like the image overall but think you could do a bit of tweaking. I'm not sure I love how gray and flat the wings of the bird are...maybe do some selective burning and dodging to make it have a little more depth? I also love the color of the water and agree with Denise that softening or eliminating the reflection might be nice as well. Or...perhaps rippling it abit? It just doesn't feel right to me for some reason.

Mark, I love the simplicity of the composition. The water color is very nice and the mat and frame really
    set it off.:)

Thanks Cheryl for viewing and comment. Appreciate it.

That is what I liked about it as well, the simple forms combined for a nice clean vision.
