I will be at a soccer tournament in winter haven in a few weeks time. I will pull out my Florida birding trail, but are there any good local birding sites. I'd like to go to Joe Overstreet and onto Lake Kissimmee, but it seems like quite a trek through the wilderness.

Are there any air-boat rides on the other lakes? I'm particularly fond of shooting Snail Kites.
