    The hibiscus was blooming today and decided to pretend spring was coming.
    Taken with the 50 1.4 and some flash bounced off the ceiling. Also applied Lucis Art to bring out some more contrast and detail. Also extended the stem using vanishing point in CS4.

    Another fantastic image....I'm gonna get a complex :( Beautiful composition. I can't think of a better crop for this. The rear view and boosted detail is great...can you tell I'm impressed? :D Thanks for sharing.

    Harold, I have this plant indoors, and it is blooming in the winter which is unusual (Miracle Gro). Thanks for the comments. Dave thanks for your nice comments too.

    Very nice, Jackie! The bright red and green colors against the white BG is very eye catching. I like the composition too.

    Cool, Jackie! I have heard of people taking great flower photos with high speed primes. May have to look into that. Great result.

    Jackie, I like the high-key BG and the backside view. The colors and details look great. Very nice composition.

    How nice that the hibiscus has brought you an early spring! I also like the angle and the high key look.
