Sharpness, light and wing position look very good, I also like the slight look-back pose, the whites on neck and body could go a bit darker for my taste.
Great pose, eye contact and excellent details, I can see its "teeth" :)
Doug I love it as presented! Sharpness and exposure look spot on, on my monitor.
Beautiful Doug, love the sharpness and wing position, agree with Axel that whites can go a tad darker.

Doug..
Great isolation from the water.
Sharpness and exposure are excellent and I'm impressed with the HH stuff you've been presenting lately. Just enough of a slight head turn / look back to be optimal IMHO.
The exposure on the whites looks perfect on my monitor.
Beautifully sharp and well exposed...whites look good on my monitor. Love the detail and the bright colours at either end of the bird, as well as it's great separation from the dark water background.
Congats Doug on another really fine flight image!
Cheers!
Bruce
What an awesome capture you have here. You and James S have truly been nailing these "ducks" in flight one right after the other. The whites look just right on my monitor. Love the pose and the dark blue BG really works here. Congrats!
Doug, Beautiful flight shot. Great looking exposure and sharp details. I like the wing position alot.
Great capture! I love the red ring around the eye.
BigBob...
Thanks for the feedback! It's interesting how people view whites. I'm not sure if it's a monitor calibration thing or if some people prefer whiter whites. I like my whites to accurately reflect what I saw while capturing the image. On my monitor, the whites in this image are well controlled and look like the bird looked. I'm not afraid of bright whites, as long as detail is still visible.

Fantastic image Doug, I find these birds a very tough shot. The whites look fine to me .. they do appear to be a bit "whiter" on the neck than on the wings but certainly not blown and there is no reason to expect the whites to be uniform anyway.
