It seems that based on previous postings of a 'big old unit' the whole concept lends itself to a form of B/W. I do find that at times it can be rather harsh so I have tempered this with a tad of colour. I just love the texture and even at two or three years old, the calf has already inherited the 'old, weathered' look.

The 'virtual legs' doesn't really worry me, but it might others?:)

    Hi Steve

Virtual legs look cut rather than clip so they are fine with me. Saw something about the B&W but could not tell until I read, the tad of color makes a difference .. like the feel !!

Agree that the texture of their hides makes for an interesting image. Have been going back and forth in ps with this and complete b/w, not sure which I prefer (like them both). They really do make a nice study in b/w. Well done.TFS

Like this a lot Steve, the subtle color in the foliage and the texture in the Ele's skin really enhance.
