    Caught this little speedster at the Nisqually NWR, they don't sit still for long.
    D300, 400 2.8 w/1.4tc, 1/160, f4, iso800, man exp.

    Good for you to get the photo. I was quite happy just to see one the other day. A side view would have been really nice. From looking at the perch perhaps the focus is slightly in front of bird. Nice to see the little fellow in a photo. Dave

    Sharpness and light look good. I like that we can see the crown really well. I don't mind the trunk in the BG but the OOF branch in the upper left is a bit distracting. I would also desaturate the crown a bit.

    Love the crown and the feet and the sharpness but not the tree....
