    I photographed this image at the top of White Pocket in southern Utah with my Canon 5D MKII. In the background is Bryce Canyon National Park on the other side of Bryce Canyon. ISO 200, f/16.0, 1/250 sec, EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, 33mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments are welcome......

    Love how you place the log in the foreground, the flow shape of the wire and the toning in the sky. The harsh light helps with the desolate frontier feeling.

    verry verry good Richard i love the tones of the sky and the texture of the wood , great image . The sky is natural , ? do u use a polarizer filter ?

    I was at about 6000 ft. elevation and the sky looks bluer up there. I did not use a polarizer.

    Sweet image Richard, love those blues and filling the fg !! Might have given a little extra space particularly on top !! Mighty fine image !!!

    Wow, look at the colors, the sharpness and the details !! Would like to see a bit more space at the top, too.

    Richard I like your comp, just a little tight on the top for me too. Looks like a high noon shot:) I agree with Thanaboon that the light adds to the desolate feel.

    I like the capture. Agree with a tad more room at the top...aside from this, excellent...:cool:
