Hi Kobus, Nice job on this! The slot in the rocks act as a good leading line with a warm reflection on the water. The breaking wave adds alot along with minimalized colored sky. Well thought out!!

I first thought it was an HDR. Great color capture with depth to it. Interesting textures between the rock and water. I looked at it closely to decide whether the rock was taking up too much of the photo, but decided no, the rock anchors the whole photo, and that little circular pool at the bottom adds a softness. Great job

.. and the selected shutter speed does very nice, enough blur in the water but waves fully recognizable !! I like the feel, excellent !!!

Awesome composition. I love that rock!

I'm curious why you didn't blend in another exposure to get rid of the blown highlights? Personally I wouldn't leave it like that, but that's me and my style.

Besides the highlights, the whole image is fantastic. Great job.

    Kobus,

I like how this came out for the reasons mentioned above. The shutter speed is just right.
